Each week of the February vacation has its own theme. From February 10 to 14, 2025, Vars celebrates love in music, with a wide range of activities including creative workshops, sports activities and a chamallow party. On Thursday February 13, Vars will vibrate to the rhythm of a concert celebrating the different facets of love.

Welcome drink

8:45 am – Vars les Claux snow front

Start this week dedicated to love with a complimentary breakfast in a friendly atmosphere. This moment of conviviality is also an opportunity to introduce you to the resort’s activities and events, and to share a tender moment with Dorlotte the groundhog.

Dorlotte of love

10am – Vars les Claux snow front

Come and share a tender moment with our mascot Dorlotte the groundhog, who will bring you sweetness by offering you chocolates.

Archer Battle in cupid mode

4pm – Vars les Claux snow front entertainment area

Become Cupid for a duel! Arm yourself with harmless arrows, aim for hearts and score points. Who will be king of the arrows of love?

Love Lotto Evening

8pm – Espace animations front de neige de Vars les Claux

Come and share a convivial moment during this evening. Lots of prizes to be won. Registration required at the Tourist Office, places are limited, under 12s must be accompanied by an adult.

Bachata and salsa dance initiation

10am – Espace animations Front de neige de Vars les Claux

Come and try your hand at these ballroom dances, and share a convivial moment set to the rhythms of love. Registration required at the Tourist Office. For ages 12 and up.

Dorlotte time

4:30pm – Point Show snow front

A moment of surprise with Dorlotte: blind test, obstacle course, dance and much more await you.

Nocturne at Téléski des Ecrins

5pm – 7pm – Point Show

Fancy some night skiing? Every Tuesday during the school vacations, the Ecrins ski lift will be on overtime. The International Ski School will also be on hand with its torchlit descent.

Tuesday show: Opération artichaut by compagnie les Piaffes

6pm – Salle Chastan

Since the dawn of time, love has constantly brought suffering and death. Convinced that mankind would be much happier if it were free of its tormentor, the elite P.I.A.F.F.E.S commando made it their number 1 enemy. Led by their eminent captain, Flamme, soldiers Potiron and Garcia hit the roads of France and Navarre to roll out a major de-entimentalization campaign: Operation Artichoke. Our passionate ski patrollers invite you to join them as they open the pistes: first tracks, safety, prevention… Places are limited, so bookings must be made at the Tourist Office from Monday February 10. No reservations by phone. Level required: 3rd star.

Visit to the snow factory

Free admission from 10am to 12pm – Snow factory, Clapier slope

Discovery and explanation of the snow-making profession and artificial snow. Access via the Chabrières telemix, valid ski pass required.

Unusual visit of love

11am – Vars les Claux Tourist Office

Visit Vars les Claux in a musical atmosphere full of love with two colorful characters…

L’Amour toboggan ride

4:50pm – Meet at the bottom of the Chabrières Telemix

Embark on a giant luge descent, with love as the theme! Helmets and metal-braked sledges compulsory, purchase of a sledging ACCES compulsory (different from the ski day pass), ski and snow shoes forbidden. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. This activity is not recommended for children under 5. Maximum two people per sled.

Chamallow party!

6pm – Vars les Claux snow front

Share a tender, gourmet moment around a fire, toasting marshmallows. A sweet and delicious way to celebrate love.

Créa’telier de la Saint Valentin : musical instrument

A creative workshop for young and old to make your own musical instrument as a gift for the person of your choice. Ages 2 and up. Registration required at the Tourist Office.

Draisienne race

2pm – Vars les Claux snow front

Come and take part in this unusual draisienne race on skates on a course specially designed for the occasion. 100% fun guaranteed! For children up to 12 years.

Février fait son show

5:45pm – Vars les Claux snow front

SMASH HITS revisits classic pop-rock, dance, reggae and soul tunes to celebrate the many facets of love. An ESF torchlight descent followed by a show will light up this festive evening under the sign of love.
