Flower Power

Each week of the February vacation has its own theme. From March 24 to 02, 2025, Vars will be immersed in a flowery atmosphere with its “Flower Power” theme, featuring a wide range of activities, including creative workshops, sports activities and a chamallow party. On Thursday February 27, Vars will vibrate to the rhythm of a flower power concert.

Tuesday, February 25

Weekly market

Nocturne at the Ecrins ski lift

5pm – 7pm – Point show

Fancy some night skiing? The Ecrins ski lift goes into overtime every Tuesday during the school vacations. The International Ski School will also be on hand with its torchlit descent.

Tuesday show: Opération artichaut by compagnie les Piaffes

6pm – Salle Chastan

All is well in the Windy City: the windmills are spinning, the trees are bearing fruit, people are living happily and dreams are coming true. But one day, in the infinity of the dunes, a strange traveler arrives. To fill his bag, he’ll do anything, even if it means upsetting the whole life of the city. A sparkling, modern fable, combining theater, music and circus arts, to be shared with the whole family.

First track

8:40 am – Meeting point at Télémix de Chabrières

Our passionate ski patrollers invite you to share in the opening of the pistes with them: first tracks, safety, prevention… Places are limited, reservations required at the Tourist Office. Level required: 3rd star.

Visit to the snow factory

Free admission from 10am to 12pm – Snow factory, Clapier piste

Discovery and explanation of the snow-making profession and artificial snow. Access via the Chabrières telemix, valid ski pass required.

Unusual Flower Power visit

11am – Vars les Claux snowfront entertainment area

Visit Vars les Claux in a flowery, colorful atmosphere with two very special characters…

Floral toboggan ride

4.40pm – Meet at the bottom of the Chabrières Telemix

Everyone toboggan in hand for a giant descent! Helmets and metal-braked toboggans compulsory, purchase of a tobogganing ACCES compulsory, ski and snow shoes forbidden. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. This activity is not recommended for children under 5. Maximum two people per sled.

Chamallow party!

6pm – Front de neige Télémix de Vars les Claux

Share a tender, gourmet moment around a fire, toasting marshmallows.

February puts on a show

5:45pm – Vars les Claux snow front

During this evening, JUSTYN BAND will take you back to the greatest international and French hits with a lively quartet for a festive evening. An ESF torchlight descent followed by a light show will kick off this festive evening.
