Because there’s never a dull moment in Vars!

Even outside the school vacations, Vars has plenty to keep you entertained. Every week, in addition to the major events, the Tourist Office offers a variety of activities, perfect for discovering the mountains in a new light. The emphasis is on learning about and exploring this environment, with activities linked to the theme of nature. From activities specially designed for toddlers (0-3 years), to dedicated moments for adults, there’s something for everyone and every taste!

Theme weeks for 100% fun vacations

At Vars, the school vacations are synonymous with fun and festivities, with themed weeks that promise unforgettable moments for the whole family. From Christmas to the end of the season, each vacation week is unique, with a theme specially chosen to thrill you. From magical Christmas to retro 90s atmospheres, cartoons and explosions of color, there’s something for everyone! With shows, entertainment and fun activities, get ready for a vacation full of surprises. Every Monday morning, a welcome breakfast will be held from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. on the Vars les Claux snow front, a moment of sharing and conviviality to discover all the activities awaiting you during the week.

Christmas weekImmerse yourself in the magic of the holidaysDecember 21 to 28, 2024

The villages of Vars are lit up in the colors of Christmas for you to experience this magic. Discover the Christmas market, take part in the best Christmas sweater competition and marvel at the light parade on stilts. Of course, don’t miss Santa’s arrival on skis, followed by a luminous procession and fireworks. You’ll leave with a souvenir photo with Santa.

New Year's weekCelebrate the New YearJanuary 28 to 5, 2025

Vars invites you to celebrate the New Year in a festive atmosphere. Enjoy a fireworks show, dance to the rhythm of the après-ski DJ set, watch the torchlight descent and the ballet of the snow groomers. A fireworks display will light up the night to usher in the New Year. The week comes to a close with Epiphany and a giant galette des rois to share!

Love in musicVibrate to the rhythm of loveFebruary 8 to February 15, 2025

Vars celebrates love with music! Attend a show on the theme of love, create a musical instrument in a workshop, and enjoy the torchlight descent and fireworks in February. For Valentine’s Day, leave colorful messages of love and take part in a giant blind test.

Vintage Week, back to 90'sBack in timeFebruary 15 to 22, 2025

This week, we’re turning the spotlight on the 90s in Vars! Immerse yourself in this decade with a vintage show, a retro toboggan ride and a moment of sharing over grilled marshmallows. Take part in an inter-city challenge on an inflatable structure, and test your memories with a 90s blind test and quiz. The week will be punctuated by a bingo evening, a vintage handicraft activity and karaoke for moments of pure nostalgia!

Flower Power WeekA colorful weekFebruary 22 to March 1

This week invites you to plunge into a vibrant, flowery universe, with a flower-making workshop, a make-up session and ephemeral tattoos. There will also be a colorful show.

Cartoons and video games weekDiscovering a cartoon universeMarch 1 to 8, 2025

This week is all about cartoons and video games in Vars! Take part in the carnival and its fancy dress parade, watch a cartoon show, and race down the slopes on a Mario Kart-style toboggan. Challenge your friends and family to a game of human foosball on an inflatable structure, and take part in an evening of video and arcade games. Your knowledge of the theme will be put to the test with a blind test on film, cartoon and video game credits!

Full Color WeekEnd of season in style!March 31 to April 6, 2025

The 2024-2025 winter season will end in color with a Full Color-themed week. So get ready for a dynamic and festive week of Olympics.
