Nestled in the heart of the snow-capped mountains, the resort is transformed into a magical setting, where the spirit of Christmas mingles with the majesty of the peaks. MONDAY DECEMBER 23

Christmas welcome drink

8:45 am – Vars les Claux snow front

Start the day with a warm welcome. You’ll be treated to a complimentary breakfast and drinks, along with a presentation of the resort’s activities and a prize draw to win some surprises!

Christmas Zumba initiation

10 a.m. – Vars les Claux snow front

Put on your sneakers and move to the rhythm of Christmas music in a relaxed, festive atmosphere.

Human curling contest

5pm – Vars les Claux snow front

Come and take part in a crazy race on ice and try to win prizes in a friendly and fun atmosphere. Ages 8 and over, accompanied by an adult.

Christmas Market: Gifts and Delicacies

2pm – 8pm – Plateau du Fournet

Our Christmas market, open from 2pm to 8pm, is the perfect place to find last-minute gifts and treats. Local crafts, mountain specialities and hot chocolate to warm hearts!

Soirée des étoiles

Immerse yourself in the legends of the Christmas stars and observe the sky from the resort. A unique evening to discover the secrets of the stars in the heart of the mountains.

Come and give a warm hug to the Christmas Dorlotte and take part in a quiz and blind test on the most popular Christmas songs. A gentle, playful moment for young and old.

Enchanted stroll

3:45pm – 4:15pm – Vars les Claux snow front

Discover a magical parade on the Vars les Claux snow front. A festive parade to immerse you in the enchanted world of Christmas.

Enchanting stroll and luminion parade

5:30pm-6:30pm – Vars Sainte-Marie

Join us at Sainte-Marie for an enchanting luminion-lit procession. A refreshment area will be available.

Christmas party and fireworks

From 6:30pm – Vars Sainte-Marie snow front

Don’t miss Santa’s arrival on skis! A torchlight descent by the ski instructors will follow, with music, and a grand fireworks display will bring the evening to a close.

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 25

First track

8.40am – Location to be defined on registration

Our passionate ski patrollers invite you to share in the opening of the pistes with them: first tracks, safety, prevention… Places are limited, so bookings must be made at the rescue center from Monday December 23 at 2pm. Level required: 3rd star.

Visit to the snow factory

Free admission from 10am to 12pm – Snow factory, Clapier piste

Discover the job of snowmaker and the secrets of artificial snow! This visit is accessible via the Chabrières telemix with a valid ski pass.

Créa’telier: Christmas cards and wooden snowflakes

10am – Espace anim’ Front de Neige de Vars les Claux

Children and adults alike can give free rein to their creativity in this manual workshop where they’ll make their own Christmas cards and wooden snowflakes. Ages 3 and up.

Photos with Santa and face painting

3:30-5pm – Vars les Claux snow front

Come and immortalize your stay with Santa and enjoy a make-up workshop for children.

Santa’s toboggan ride: catch up with Santa!

4.40pm – Meet at the bottom of the Chabrières chairlift

Get ready for an unforgettable toboggan ride with Santa! Children and adults alike are invited to take part in this crazy race, where Santa could well lose a few presents along the way… Helmet and toboggan with metal brakes compulsory, purchase of a tobogganing ACCES compulsory, ski and snow boots forbidden, children under 12 accompanied by an adult compulsory (not recommended for under 5s).

Papillotes party and photos with Santa Claus!

6pm – Vars les Claux snow front

Bring this magical day to a close with a papillote party and souvenir photos with Santa Claus.

THURSDAY DECEMBER 26 :

Nordic walking and sports

10 a.m. – Departure from in front of the refuge Napoléon

Put on your sneakers and discover the magnificent Vars landscape on this sporty walk. Registration required, ages 14 and over, sportswear and suitable footwear mandatory.

BARN TOUR WITH BERNARD

2pm – “Le Rey” bus stop in Vars Sainte-Catherine

Come and discover the farming profession through the story of Bernard, who is opening his cowshed to us today.

Flashmob with Santa and Dorlotte

4pm – Vars les Claux snow front

Join us for a festive flash mob with Santa Claus and mascot Dorlotte, for a wild dance on the snow front!

End-of-year bingo evening

8pm – Salle Chastan in Vars Sainte-Marie

Take part in this convivial evening, with lots of prizes to be won. Registration required at the Tourist Office, places limited, under 12s accompanied by an adult.

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 27 :

Elf hunt

10am – Point show

Scour the village for hidden goblins and win surprises.

Wooden games, Molkky and cricket

4pm – Vars les Claux snow front

Spend an afternoon with the whole family playing traditional wooden games in a friendly atmosphere.

Christmas concert: Lemon Peppers

From 6pm – Point show

Enjoy a Christmas concert by the Lemon Peppers to close the day in a festive atmosphere.

Nocturne on the Vars Mountain Kart and Caribou toboggan!
