A gourmet walk with a view?

Take to the terraces of high-altitude restaurants on accessible trails, ideal for catching up with friends who prefer skiing.

Fancy a walk in the forest?

Don’t worry, just hop on one of the free shuttles to the village of Vars Sainte Catherine: the Bois de la Pinée (circuit 13) is the place to be, with kilometers of forest trails offering superb panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and, with a little luck, the chance to meet the wild (hares, roe deer, squirrels…).

More into summits and grandiose views?

The Vars Speed Master detachable chairlift is accessible to pedestrians! Following on from the Chabrières telemix, it takes you to the highest point in the resort, where an orientation table gives you a 360° view of the surrounding mountains: a must-see (circuit 19).

Passionate about history and heritage?

With the little Vars heritage guide under your arm, discover the traditional villages of Vars on the 3 villages circuit: ancient housing, sundials, religious heritage and, above all, the pleasure of strolling through typical alleyways (circuit 15).
