Freestyle ski competitions

March 1 to 8, 2025

From March 1 to 8, 2025, Vars will be hosting a number of freestyle ski competitions, including the French Slopestyle Cup, the French Slopestyle and Big Air Championships and the National Kids SlopeStyle. The perfect opportunity to see a great show in the Vars Park.

One week

freestyle show

Vars will host an intense week of freestyle ski competitions, bringing together more than 70 riders in various categories on the lines of the Vars Snowpark. Slopestyle and Big Air will be on the program, promising spectacular performances for winter sports enthusiasts. A must-see event to admire the best freestyle talents!

Throughout the week, several competitions will punctuate the event. The week kicks off with the French Slopestyle Cup, followed by the French Big Air Championship, where skiers perform daring tricks. The week will close with a French Slopestyle Kids Cup, to initiate young competitors and discover the future champions of the discipline.

At the meeting

Slopestyle and Big Air

Slopestyle and big air are two of the six disciplines of freestyle skiing.
In slopestyle, skiers link figures and tricks on a course made up of various modules such as rails, boxes and jumps. In Big Air, skiers perform acrobatic aerial tricks on a single ski jump, emphasizing height and technical performance.
