3. Events not to be missed

Vars is much more than a ski resort: it’s also a place for festivities and major sporting events. The season kicks off with Vars en Scène, where this year Bigflo & Oli offer an unforgettable free concert. And to round off the season, Gliss & Mix brings the resort to life with renowned DJs. In the heart of winter, Outdoormix Winter Festival is added to the program with a supercharged cocktail of sports and free concerts. Vars also offers the adrenalin of major competitions. With the famous Chabrières slope, recognized as the fastest in the world, Vars plays host to the World Speed Skiing Cup, the World Championship and the world record attempt. On the freestyle side, the Vars snowpark hosts the French snowboard championships as well as spectacular freestyle ski competitions. Vars is not just skiing, it’s fun all year round!
