For this young race format, open from the Cadet category and introduced to the Vars Moutain Trail program last year, the course starts at Vars Sainte-Marie and climbs directly to the lieu-dit du Château on the heights of the village of Saint-Marcellin. The climb is short but steep, before returning to Sainte-Catherine via a magnificent balcony single with a breathtaking view of the Eyssina, Vars’ emblematic mountain. The loop ends with a descent to the Pont de la Salce and its waterfalls before arriving at the village of Sainte-Marie. Ready for the challenge?
